Beginning in 2004, How Hard and Integrity began a series of free park events on Long Island that ran monthly through two summers and grew into a phenomenon that spawned events that took place as far away as New England and in locations as unique as a movie theater. At its peak, events were held monthly beginning in la...te spring with a grand finale falling sometime in September. Often, these free events became pre-parties or after-parties for major events around the New York City metropolitan area. In addition, all-age and no-cost accessibility helped expand rave culture's reach beyond the venue environment.

In 2011, How Hard and Integrity team up with Big Ears, an old friend and fellow member of Hardmind, to bring back the series that was the backdrop for many memorable, and for some pivotal, experiences in our lives. With the recent upswing in rave culture and attendance, along with an increasing urge to make a reason to get back together with friends we would like to see more, we felt it was time to once again bring you:

Dogs are only allowed in the park's dog run.

The members of Hardmind have contributed to rave culture as individuals for over a decade. For nearly as long, as a united assemblage, they have strived to maintain and advance rave culture through free music distribution, major and free event production, and positive influence. Naturally, as time moves forward, so do the individual lives that comprise Hardmind. In this new era, Hardmind feels it is important to revisit our roots with friends and family we don't see often enough and invite those who may not have had the opportunity in the past to enjoy the freedom that our outdoor location has to offer.

A time when you wanted to wake up early because the school week was over and Saturday morning was upon you. After catching up on the latest adventures of the Thundercats or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (or whatever cartoons were popular in your youth =P), you ran outside into your carefree world with your friends to live your own adventures and create your own memories. This time period in our lives shaped our vision for the series of parties we brought you and will bring you this summer. Make your Saturday morning full of carefree fun. Go on that adventure one more time and create new memories in our large park filled with hills, playgrounds, fields, and everything else that used to make you smile.
